I hope you can dance now

LTME postI hated country music. I hated baseball. I hated gingers.
Now it seems I try and find a guy that every little piece of you in it.
I was that party girl in high school; I could out drink anyone, hook up with everyone, and host the best parties known in my town. Deep down though, I was lost and lonely. My sister no longer lived with me because of college, and my parents were too busy moving into a new life.
I initially went for you because you were attractive and I wanted to make your best friend jealous. Boy, did I end up with the better guy.
You saw me for me. We would talk about our aspirations together, how we would both go to our Division I colleges and end up being successful. We knew this relationship couldn’t last, but we still did it.
Now, going into our sophomore years of college, I don’t know how you are. I don’t even know if you’re okay, if you need someone or something. It’s a scary thought that I have to live with.
