Sincerely, Rhyme

I’ll just come right out and say it…. This is a love letter when I first  started writing to Tony I never really thought he’d write back but I hope he would.

When I was younger I had a hard time saying what was on my mind. Maybe people thought oh Rhyme’s not that deep… or complicated but they were wrong I just kept it all bottled up inside.

That’s why these last few months have been so special to me because I meant someone else…. someone different. And it made me realize that there’s more to life than the cute boy at school.

I have so much else to be grateful for .

Sure the people in my life can be goofy sometimes  and sure we don’t always see eye-to-eye, but our differences are what brings us together. Even if that means living in other towns…Or living on the other coast or even in other states. So maybe we don’t always get the endings we were hoping for but sometimes the endings we think we want aren’t always the ones we need. but the truth is our stories aren’t written yet any moment everything can change. People walk in and out of our lives  and you never know who might turn up next.

Which brings me back to us when I first started writing it was for someone miles and miles away. But somewhere along the way I stopped writing for him or for anyone else I started writing for myself. The thing is what I can’t be right now is yours– nor anyone else. I’m a brother, a writer, a dancer, but more than anything I’m a Dance Brother.

Sincerely, Rhyme.
