To my greatest, 

It’s been painful, heartbreaking and soul crushing to know that this is our new reality. I’ve loved with every inch of me & I know you did too, it’s just that you needed to to figure yourself out before you could love me. I understand the sacrifice and hardship it takes to chose yourself but it is what’s important for self growth. You can’t love me without loving yourself first.

I’m angry, I’m disappointed and destroyed but there is no hate in these emotions. I wish our circumstances were different however they aren’t and this challenge will be best for the two of us. It’s been over a month since we’ve spoken and I’ve discovered how much love I needed for myself despite the thought of me already loving myself. The truth is, you leaving me is a blessing in disguise. I forgot how to take care of me because I wanted to take care of you more. I forgot to love myself because you required it more than I did and this speaks volume. Your cup was half empty so I kept pouring myself to fill it when you had to do it in your own.

In my heart, it will always be you and me. In every lifetime, I will chose you. But for now, I can only pray and wish for the best and if wishes were bullets  I’d be gone. To the love we lost and the love we’ll cherish and the love love we’ll create. I hope you find yourself and love yourself the way I love you.  And if the universe and whatever God people believe in truly paved our paths to cross again, I hope we find one another in better circumstances. To create a love so great within ourselves we can love one another just as much.

In every lifetime, I love you. Good bye for now & I wish you well in your future. Thank you for allowing me to feel love and allowing me to feel this pain, because at least I know it was real.
