Dear Todd,
I haven’t spoken to you after almost 3 years and you decide to send a Happy Birthday email when me and my boyfriend are on a trip that he planned for us to celebrate my special day. When I saw the email the only thing I could think about is how in all the years we knew each other you could not even be bothered to send me a card from the dollar store and now I am with a man who bends over backward to see me smile. 
I am now with a wonderful man who loves me and wants to be included in my life and includes me his. 
Thank you for showing me what I will never accept again. Thank you for letting me feel the lack of love and commitment from a partner that now allows me to truly appreciate what I have. When you reached out to me after a year of not speaking to express your love only to ghost me a week later the spell you had over me was broken. You are lame. You are boring. You are no longer relevant and you are dismissed. Thank you for your service.
